Hotel Pickups for Wedding Guests
Most of our Portland weddings have an out-of-town guest contingent staying in a "wedding block" hotel, and you don't want them figuring out parking at a Hood River winery. We pick up directly from the hotel lobby, no walking, no Ubers, no late guests.
Hotel pickup zones we run weekly:
- Pearl District / Downtown The Nines, Sentinel, Heathman, Hi-Lo, Hotel Lucia, Dossier, Woodlark, Dossier, Woodlark
- Lloyd District Hyatt Regency, DoubleTree, Hotel Eastlund
- PDX Airport area Sheraton, Hilton, Aloft, Embassy Suites
- Hood River Best Western Plus Hood River Inn, Columbia Cliff Villas (for Gorge weddings with overnight blocks)
- McMinnville / Newberg The Allison, Atticus Hotel, Tributary Hotel (for wine-country weddings)
Hotel Pickups for Wedding Guests
Continuous Loop
The shuttle runs back-and-forth between the hotel and venue for a 60–90 minute window before the ceremony, then again at the end of the night. Best for short distances (under 20 minutes one-way) and venues with rolling guest arrivals
Scheduled Pickup Window
Two or three set pickup times (e.g., 3:00pm, 3:30pm, 4:00pm). Best for longer distances, Hood River, wine country, Mt. Hood, where one bus can't realistically run a continuous loop.
Wedding Day Timing Advice
- Hood River from Portland: Build 90 minutes one-way, not 60. Friday afternoon Gorge traffic is brutal.
- Wine country from Portland: 60 minutes to Dundee, 75 to Yamhill-Carlton. Add 15 minutes during harvest (September–October).
- First look photos: Pick up the wedding party 90 minutes before the ceremony, not 60. Bridesmaid hair always runs late.
- Reception end-of-night shuttles: Schedule the last shuttle 30 minutes after the official end time. People linger.
- Mt. Hood weddings in winter: We run snow chains, but storms still happen. Plan for a 2-hour weather buffer if your wedding is November–March.
