Hotel Pickups for Wedding Guests

Most of our Portland weddings have an out-of-town guest contingent staying in a "wedding block" hotel, and you don't want them figuring out parking at a Hood River winery. We pick up directly from the hotel lobby, no walking, no Ubers, no late guests.

Hotel pickup zones we run weekly:

Hotel Pickups for Wedding Guests

There are two ways to run guest transportation. We help you pick the right one based on guest count and venue distance:

Continuous Loop

The shuttle runs back-and-forth between the hotel and venue for a 60–90 minute window before the ceremony, then again at the end of the night. Best for short distances (under 20 minutes one-way) and venues with rolling guest arrivals

Scheduled Pickup Window

Two or three set pickup times (e.g., 3:00pm, 3:30pm, 4:00pm). Best for longer distances, Hood River, wine country, Mt. Hood, where one bus can't realistically run a continuous loop.

For 30+ guests we usually pair a Portland wedding bus for the wedding party with a school bus shuttle for everyone else. The wedding party gets karaoke and champagne, your guests still get a fun ride, and everyone arrives together.

Wedding Day Timing Advice

For a full breakdown of wedding-day logistics, read our Portland wedding transportation timeline and our wedding party bus guide.
"The ride on the party bus was honestly the most fun we had at the entire wedding! Our whole bridal party was dancing and celebrating together. It set the perfect tone for the reception."

Portland Wedding Transportation FAQ

Timing, hotel pickups, guest shuttles, and venue logistics, answered.
It depends on the date, how long you need the bus, the route, and which vehicle you pick. We don’t do hidden fees, the price we quote is the price you pay. Call (503) 473-6922 or fill out the form for a free custom quote.
For peak season (May–October) book 6–9 months out. Saturday dates between June and September go first. Off-season weddings can usually be booked 2–3 months ahead, but earlier is always better for vehicle choice.
Yes, guest shuttles are one of our most-requested wedding services. We run continuous loops between downtown Portland hotels (Pearl District, Lloyd District, PDX-area hotels) and your venue, or we do scheduled pickup and drop-off windows. Our school bus rentals are the budget-friendly shuttle option for larger guest counts. School bus shuttles →
The Solid Gold Bus fits 36–40 passengers. The Karaoke Limo Bus and Checker Bus each seat 15–18. For full guest transportation, our school buses handle 40–50 passengers and we regularly pair vehicles for larger weddings. See all buses →
All the time. Hood River, the Columbia River Gorge, and Willamette Valley wine country are weekly routes for us. We know the venues, the parking, and how long it actually takes (not what Google Maps says). See Hood River venues →
Portland weather and Gorge traffic are real factors. We build buffer time into every wedding day timeline, monitor conditions live, and our chauffeurs know the alternate routes. If your ceremony is at risk, we communicate with your planner immediately.
BYO drinks and snacks are welcome, bring champagne, decorations, whatever you want. We don’t provide or serve alcohol; that’s between you and your venue’s licensing.
Go for it. Streamers, balloons, signs, anything that won’t damage the interior is fair game
